Exalting the figure of Damião de Góis, the museum portrays the achievements of one of the most influential Portuguese personalities. Through an interactive application it is possible to travel back in time and revisit the historical center of Alenquer in different periods.

The church of Nossa Senhora da Várzea, in which Damião de Góis was baptized and buried, was recovered specifically to receive the exhibition that portrays the history of the Church, Alenquer and the Victims of the Inquisition.
